Our corporate headquarters is located in Corona, California providing a central and efficient base of operations for the Inland Empire. Cavalry Ambulance was established by a trauma nurse and remains nurse-owned and operated today.
Our staff is comprised of highly skilled, experienced, and qualified medical professionals. Medical staff includes Critical Care Nurses and EMTs who are focused on quality patient care and comfort. Cavalry Ambulance is a full service emergency medical agency, providing Basic Life Support, Advanced Life Support and, Critical Care transport
The Cavalry Story
Cavalry Ambulance was founded in 2003 by Kent Knopf, RN who has served as a Deputy Sheriff and Flight Rescue nurse for over 21 years. Married with three children, Kent's experience and focus on integrity and efficiency, coupled with outstanding service is evident in every layer of Cavalry EMS.
As an avid outdoor enthusiast and horseman, Kent's dedication and desire to serve the community inspired the creation of a company that is rich in heritage and will most certainly aid and add value to the lives of others.
Just as the Cavalry of the past were regarded as the elite unit called to action for their swiftness and efficiency, Cavalry Ambulance upholds that esteemed reputation.

Our Elite Fleet
Our elite fleet is continually updated and outfitted with state of the art equipment and redundancy systems. We specialize in long distance transports focused on increased comfort with better fuel efficiency to provide an enjoyable experience. Our fleet is comprised of Ford Transit and Mercedes Sprinter Ambulances. Ford and Mercedes are leaders in reliability and have the highest safety record among emergency vehicles. Both the Transit and Sprinter provide a great option for long distance transports.
