NURSE
Requirements

Proof of at least 2 years of full-time experience working in critical care as a RN within the last 5 years (i.e. ICU, ER, PACU).

Current ACLS, and PALS.

Unencumbered and current California RN license

A valid Driver's License.

Trauma certification expected within six months of hire (TNCC, PHTLS, ATLS, etc...).

Preferred certifications include CEN, MICN, EMT-P and/or CCRN.
Minimum Qualifications
Critical Care Transport Nurse (CCT RN), responsibilities include critical care and advanced cardiac life support to critically ill and injured patients transported by ambulance. The CCT RN is able to perform patient assessments, treatments and monitoring of critical level patients during inter-facility transports. The CCT RN has the ability to independently operate and monitor a multi-channel IV pump, cardiac monitor, and ventilator. The CCT RN must have the ability to make independent decisions and possess critical thinking skills to maintain or improve patient health status during transport.
